According to the book: "Culture Shock", other people can spot an American on sight. Is that really true? And what gives it away that you are an American?

Americans tend to be informal and casual. They have a built-in distrust for authorities. They tend to speak their mind and can be viewed by other cultures to be arrogant and argumentative.
