Try out DC3 Version 2.0
Purpose
We are in the process of migrating DC3 to DC3.2. DC3.2 should run faster and have other improved user experience features.
Prerequisities
You will be receiving a password authorization from DC3 Support to grant you access to DC3.2.
You will need to follow the instructions to set up your password. We suggest that you use the same password as DC3.
Step by step
Go to DC3.2 per the following url:
http://dc3.middlewaygroup.com/
Log in:
Go to My folder to:
Once you are My Folder do the following 3 tasks
A. Upload one file to try out the Upload file function (please try both methods below):
- Use Quick Upload Portlet on the left
- Use Add File pulldown
B. Add a Page to try out the Page function.
Notice that the State of you content is Private.
Try changing the State to Internal Draft.
When you change the State to Internal Draft you will have let other members access to your content.
C. Also, try categorize your content.
The file you have created as well as the Page you have created.
By:
1. Edit your content
2. Click Categorization Tab
3. Then, select the proper Tag
(If you don't find the right tag there, please use TBD). And also, let Savita, Al and Bruce know that we need to add a new Tag and suggest to us what kind of Tage we should create). We don't want to create too many Tags but we also want to allow us to have the right Tag.
