Governance Policies
This folder contains structured pages that break down the governance policies (one policy per page) for easier viewing and referencing. Please note that the official version of the Governance Policies are to be found in the Diversity Council Official web site in PDF format. There is also a folder that contains working copies of policies that are being updated from the static, official versions.
Policies
The Diversity Council Board works in accordance to the Carver model of governance:
- Governance integrity
- Transparent
- Collaborative
- Representative of Owners Needs
- Ends Based to guide Staff programs and execution
For ease of navigation (therefore transparency) we are prototyping the use of web tooling so that each policy becomes a web page. Readers can quickly navigate (using the left navigation panel) to the policy of interests.
We are also prototyping a Policy Change Process, as depicted in the following diagram, to mange the life cycle of polices.
