IFYC Meeting at B'nai Israel Synagogue
Our next Interfatih meeting is:

Remember to bring youth from your faith community. We have not defined youth yet and I think that it is alright. So far the youth attending are in high school.
Attached are notes from our last meeting. The notes include people's thoughts about their potential guiding principals/mission. Our interfaith youth core will include a large range of faiths and philosophies. Our final mission and guiding principals will be fully inclusive. The notes are a combination of individual thoughts and small group discussions.
Examples of interfaith collaboration by youth across the world have been inspired and managed by the “Interfaith Youth Core” (www.ifyc.org), a nonprofit organization Patel founded to help young people of diverse religious backgrounds strengthen their own faith and develop respect for other faiths by teaming in community service.
Interfaith Youth Core in Chicago has a networking website. I encourage you to join Bridge Builders http://bridge-builders.ning.com/ and join the RochesterMN Group. I find Bridge Builders to be a bit difficult to navigate. In the future our Interfaith group will have a presence on Facebook and other social networking websites. Still Bridge Builders can help us reach out to others as we grow and become more active on the network website.
